Come let us worship HIm...
Yes, I know it is just the first week of December and Christmas isn't for
twenty some more days.... Did you know they begin to celebrate Christmas
during September in the Philippines? No matter, it is always a good excuse
to have a party... right? This year Mitzu, I and Natalie have good reason
to rejoice. Just two days ago she passed her final interview and test for
citizenship. That means for us we can get back 'on the road' more than
before.
So many good things are happening for FMI in the Philippines. We don't want
to miss out!. There is the new training institute, the churches are adding
more and more youth, the mountain tribal ministry is expanding, the squatter
and new mother's program is continuing, the children are coming and more and
more...
So please continue to pray for them. Last night I found two current news
articles from the United Nations saying that the Philippines is a 'disaster
waiting to happen' and that Metro Manila is the '7-11 of disasters' and
could be wiped out by earthquakes, floods and typhoons at anytime.
